A little drift here!

rc,
I was just thinking about the Lee press RCModel is donating. It is probably worth $1000s of dollars because it has been trained to make perfect reloads!
Imagine the stories it could tell ..:what:.. Whoever wins that press should have rcmodel sign/date it with THR/rcmodel - Once in a lifetime THR H&R memento!:D
Well rc, how about it?
Brought to you from the PIF thread.:)
Now back to our scheduled thread!:neener:

You know, I already packed it up in bubble wrap, and sealed the box six ways from Sunday with clear packing tape, ready for shipment.

But maybe I will unpack it and sign it?
Just for the Fishy Smell. (Halibut!). :D

rc

Ok BDS I have something to add if anyone is interested. I have up for grabs a bag of 100 158gr JHP that are sized to .3555". I purchased them thinking they were .357". Good for 9mm experiment or whatever else someone can dream up. I'll put a picture up tomorrow. Let's make the end date in Oct, I want to help ensure this keeps going on.

RC,
Being someone who knows very little about reloading, what else would be needed for the press to start reloading?
Besides brass, powder and primers.

Three big things you would need FT are dies, a scale, and a manual. Those things will get you going. Of course you will want reloading blocks to hold your cases as you reload, possibly a powder measure to speed up charging cases.

When I first started it was on that exact model press with a scale and lee dippers. I made some great 45s with it !
