I have a Leupy on an AR, a Buckmaster on a 7mm, a Mueller on a 17HMR, and an old Simmons 22Mag on a 10/22. I consider both the Nikon and the Mueller the best value by far, and the adjustable objective/paralax of the Mueller would win out for me if I were buying for a new rimfire.

I (er, my Daughter) has the Rossi 22/410 in stainless and we love it. She's not ready for the 410 - according to her - so I have a blast exercising it on blackbirds in the summer. Rossi makes a good rubber buttpad for $7.00 through dealer or mail, but increases the LOP too much for my girl...

I have the bull-barrel varient of the same gun and it was a great purchase. Extremely accurate, and anchors groundhogs where my 22LR would often require a second shot. Great trigger, especially compared side-by-side to the Marlin at the same store counter.

I'm considering both as well. I've not yet handled the LCP, but it looks to be higher quality, especially the extractor. The KT extractor looks like it was garage-fabricated from a binder clip (somebody set me straight if I'm missing something). I'm looking forward to handling both at the...

When I was in the same position I narrowed the choices down to a 22/45 or a Buckmark. I finally decided on the Buckmark, and am very happy with my choice. It's a daily carry for me, on the odd chance that I run across a groundhog or blackbird.

Careful.... It took me three years to shake the nickname "pinky" after stitches/splint were required when washing a glass and it broke with my hand inside. Never noticed damaging a cuticle or breaking a nail while exercising my 336. :evil:

Get it through a Federal contract, and leave the commercial stuff for us!!!! :p

I only have experience with one, the Simmons, on my 10/22. I've been very pleased with it; it's proven itself as a reliable groundhog-getter while taking the typical hard knocks of an every-day tool.
