USPc .40
I bought a USPc in .40. Fantastic pistol, built like a Panzer, has an amazing feel of quality to it. I'm a Walther fanboy, but I really do like the USP. I would buy another without reservation.
Not anal enough to care...I buy mostly used pistols anyway so unsure of their previous life. I monitor performance/accuracy at the range. I'm more fanatic about cleaning and component inspection when the pistol is field stripped.
I gotta say Walther PPS, dead on accurate, and 100% reliable...I was lucky to score one for around 400 on auction arms, have never seen that price again.
Auto-Ordnance 1911( GI model) Jam-o-matic for me and everyone whoever tried it, new and different magazines, different ammo, etc...Could never make it through a mag with out jamming..Front site blew off. Bought a Glock 21 and never looked back, and have never had a FTF or FTE...
Walther is still good to go, totally underated. Smith and Wesson is the American importer now. P99 and PPS are rock solid, reliable, and accurate platforms.
LOVE the P99. I have an OD Green P99AS in 9mm, P990(DAO) in .40, and P99 QA Compact in 9mm, and SW99 compact in .40( the joint venture with Walther). Highly reccomended... accurate, dependable, and great ergos. Love the "pointability" of the pistol. I'm also an HK and Glock owner, but...
