Dear THR
I recently bought a USP with a TB. The more I use USP then more I like it. I am really finding the decocker-safety useful and user friendly.

What are your experiences with the USP and what are your thoughts on it?

Thanks

The fullsize would make a great duty weapon. They're kind of large for concealment though. Good solid pistols. Built like tanks. They have a few quirks, but such is most anything H&K. I have a USP45. I don't shoot it as well as some of my other pistols, mostly because of the larger grip circumference, but the pistol itself is dead-nuts accurate. I like the variant 1 configuration myself.

Yes Jason is right. TB is for threaded barrel.
I have used subsonic ammo in it as well not as quite as I had expect (like MP5SD), but still fun to shoot.

USPc .40

I bought a USPc in .40. Fantastic pistol, built like a Panzer, has an amazing feel of quality to it. I'm a Walther fanboy, but I really do like the USP. I would buy another without reservation.

Actually the USPc is on my list of to buy weapons. I think it will be great carry gun, however, its will be a in strong competition with my HK P30.

Compact is a missnomer IMO but it is a wonderfully sized gun. I don't carry or shoot mine much because I have taken to the Glocks. The 12 rd. mags are way to expensive for the extra 2 rds. but they are a very solid good shooting gun.
