I had the Sig 220 and sold it.... I have been looking at the USP but cannot find any in stores... If the M&P comes out soon I would like to look that one over even though I don't care for S&W customer service. I also want to handle the P345 - looks very nice. Any others I should look at?

Thanks, GW, but I tried the XD45 when it first came out and it was still smallish for me. I also looked up the PT145 on the Taurus site and there is no such weapon listed anymore?

I am not too enthused about the XD because the fit is kind of small for my hand. Otherwise I love the pistol.

I have decided to switch from my present home protection gun - an XD9 with a streamlight TLR2 attached, to something in .45 ACP with a rail so I can still use my TLR2 with it. I think I want something lightweight. Can you gentlemen suggest anything?
