    Remington vs Howa

    I think both rifles are decent,but the hogue stocks are junk.I have a couple and when shooting off a bipod they are not stiff enough.with very little effort you can twist the cross hairs right off the paper.ended up switching them out to laminates.

    load master I have one for loading 45's,the only headache was the bullet feeder.threw that in the trash, and I just drop the bullet on by hand.it ended up being faster not chasing dropped bullets everywhere!!!!!

    my 700 varmint gun shoots 40-52 grain bullets into one ragged hole at 100 yards,really opens up with 55's.this with imr 4198.

    Weatherby 223 remington loads

    I have a 1 in 12 twist and shoot 40 grain noslers with 22 grains of 4198.it shoots them into a 1/2" at 100,I can't get the 55 grainers to very well.

    IMR 4198 load

    I use 22 grains of 4198 under a 40 grain nosler in my bolt .223 .it will shoot one ragged hole all day.
