    MAS 44/56 experience

ok first off if it is a century 308 conversion run like hell, many were poorly done, and often didn't work well, there is a fellow in PA that does a proper conversion for like $200, IIRC his name is Bill Toth, do a search on the mas conversion it will pop a link to the JPFO site and mention him...

what is the appeal of HK P7 series?

aint no way for it to kaboom because of the clogged gas port, all that would happen it that you might have cycling issues, but this can happen using a nylon brush as well.

    Who sells Milt Sparks holsters??

btw I normally order through Lightning Arms, Craig and Audrey are the tops, but I have ordered some exotics from Sparks as well, currently waiting on a VM2 for a HK P9s. It is an excellent rig, you will enjoy it, I own 5 at my last count, they are the ONLY leather I will buy.

    trade my glock?!?

as for why Glock won't issue a recall that is simple, liability,. once they admit it then there will be a flood of lawsuits from those who have had their guns go boom! Millions were sold, get a new barrel, or get a SIG, all your fears will be resolved.

Texas gets CHL reciprocity with three more states

sweet news Geo! I'm sure the boys down in Jackson will do right and sign it post haste. Perhaps the next time I'm in Austin I will have to look for the 30.06 signs! BTW thanks for the tip on using Red's to transfer my dad's rifle, he got it last week and said they were great. When I make it...

Help me with my H&K P9 FAQ!

good so far, but a few things with the safety on, dry firing is not recommended by HK, because it will damage the firing pin, in addition to what you mentioned. grip frames- 3 types standard, then navy seal 1 as you referred, then navy seal 2, this is the same except the frame fully...

Tom Cruise's Pistol Training/Shooting Instruction for Film "Collateral"?

u sure it was him? I watched a special about the movie the other night, and it stated that Guy Rock trained Crusie for the pistol and hand to hand stuff. Interesting point about Rock, he trains you to add on your strengths, not by teaching new skills from the ground up. Cruise said he really...

    HK p2000sk vs Walther P99c

George, I see your point, and to an extent I do agree, I could not stand the USP compacts, however there are many refinements in the new P2000( or as I say USPC 2.0) I own several 1.0s and a 2.0 in addtion to P7s and P9s, all are quality guns, but I think HK nailed it with the 2.0 all the...

    HK p2000sk vs Walther P99c

ahh but one thing in favor of the P2K is that it is completely ambidexterous, can't say the Walther has a slide release on both sides like the HK does. I do agree they are pricey, but I also think that top quality and top reliability tend to cost more. In the end both are good guns, but I...

    tritium into milled front sight??

tooltech is owned by Trijicon, it is their custom shop, if they can redo a Beretta slide, I would bet they can do the P9, however the porting might be an issue

    Glock KaBooms

FYI HK switched from traditional rifling to Poly in November of 94, also at that time there were trigger adjustments made as well. I have owned both a Pre/Post 94 40 and a new 2004 40, none of them are unsupported. What is the date code off of yours 1911 Tuner?
