Thanks for the advice. Don't think I love the Sig so much that I'm willing to spend $200 to convert. Is the 75B user friendly in the area of stripping and cleaning? I love the Sig in that regard.
I have a like new 229 DAK that I got for a good price. Nice gun, not sure I'm crazy about the DAO. It's fairly light, but I know I could be a better shot with DA/SA.
Plus I see Bud's has the 75B for $377. tack on $25 to ship and $20 to FFl = 422. Not too shabby

From unlicensed individual to dealer. The only place that I know of that will do this is Fedex. Do you normally take a copy of the FFL license to the shipper? It doesn't say on their website that they require a copy of the license. I figure if you have the printout from the ATF site...
I don't think it really matters to be honest with you. I prefer 9mm. Less recoil, faster followup shots, cheaper ammo. I suppose if you're wanting a hunting sidearm and you could potentially run into a bear, then you don't want either of those two calibers. Otherwise, shoot whichever you feel...
Found a 229R DAK in 9mm, basically brand new. Less than 100 rounds through it and 100% condition. It will be shipped to me for $550. I thought this to be a very fair deal.
Does Beretta manufacture anything comparable to a Glock 26? I have narrowed my next gun selection down to a G26...however, the one Beretta I have shot in my life (full size 9mm, not sure which model) was so smooth and enjoyable to shoot that I want to at least consider looking at what they have...
