Beretta compact 9mm?

Does Beretta manufacture anything comparable to a Glock 26? I have narrowed my next gun selection down to a G26...however, the one Beretta I have shot in my life (full size 9mm, not sure which model) was so smooth and enjoyable to shoot that I want to at least consider looking at what they have to offer.

Beretta 9000D model in 9mm looks to be comparable. Probably $100 cheaper than the G26. What are the impressions of this gun?

Or the PX4 subcompact..is this model for sale yet? Looks pretty sweet.

That gun is not well liked among even Beretta fans.

But, there is a PX4 compact version about to hit the stores soon.
