Grats! I found Plated Sub 22 at Midway and PSA last week. Stocking up myself for when my Sparrow gets here. Just keep an eye on 'em; they come in stock every now and then.

All of mine are modified in some way, either by myself, by the gun's previous owners, by my local gun-smiths, or by sending them back to the manufacturer for factory work. I would guess that around 80% of mine haven't had the manufacturer's warrantees voided at this point. :cool:

Well, I haven't gotten to try it out yet, but I recently made a similar decision as OP, and I went with an Osprey 45. Mostly because of the form factor and the fact that I won't have to change out the sights on all my guns. My primary host will be my USP 45, but it should work on just about all...

Why aren't 9mm revolvers more common? Same reason 357-Mag auto's aren't common. Because the 9x19-Para round is made to feed from a magazine into an auto/semi. There are better rounds for firing from a revolver. No need to re-invent the wheel for most people.

This would be sweet! Would seriously consider if its price is in-line with other Remington 1911's.

Looks like fun! I just got my first 22 can ordered a couple days ago - can't wait to try it out! Will be a month or more before it'll be at my dealer and I can try it out. Many months past that before I can take it home. I am now fighting the urge to go pick up more 22 guns so I can try them...

That is good news indeed. I'm just now starting the process of getting my trust in place and making some orders. Glad to know the rug isn't being pulled out from under my feet in the next few months at least.

I always store them with the actions closed. Most of mine are semi's and I don't want to risk something bumping them and slamming them closed on empty chamber. I always clean 'em good before storing them, so the only thing running down into the action is oil that should be good for them anyways...
