I guess I should join. Currently have the S&W 1026, and am down to my last half dozen rounds of the old Norma 200 @ 1200FPS ammo. Previously owned and operated a Bren Ten, S&Ws ( multiple 1006s,1076s, 610s,etc), Delta, Ruger Blackhawk, G20, etc. Started reloading for the 10 as soon as dies became available. I still really like the caliber, at least when loaded to it's real potential in factory or handloaded form...ymmv

Razor's run around 1400?, That's what I have seen on slickguns.com, patiently waiting. Another question, are the new Delta's good or bad? That's another possibility. Or should I go for a Glock 20 and save some money. HD/carry, maybe a little bullseye . I never had a 10, that's odd, even me but they seem to be popular again, and as long as I can get ammo for it, I would consider it over another 45. I don't reload, and at my age, I am not about to start.

By the way I feel like it is time for a Semi Auto 10mm. I am saving up what would you all recommend and can a nice one be had for under $900? Keep in mind it is my first 10MM Semi Auto, I am looking for a little something more than the Glock 20 or 29.

Hey revolver guy if your looking for a semi auto ten mm look no further than the new rock island armory 10mm tactical II FS it's listed price is 770 and they got rid of the bill board logo you should look at it

As an absolute GO TOO pistol my G20SF is the BOMB! It's light, holds a zillion rounds, and weighs nothing!

Now if I can just stop picking up these G'Dn 1911s!

@ SigFTW: how do you like the RIA in comparison with the Hunter? I realize that the hunter is a whole other level, but just wanting your opinions.

I like my RIA a lot however it does not compare to the quality of the EAA Witness Hunter. The Hunter has a 15+1 round capacity compared to 8+1. The hunter's trigger is smoother and has a 6" barrel, it's just one finely built 10mm. The Hunter comes with two springs however both are too light for a hot 10mm round. It does not make sense to me to shoot a soft 10mm load, might as well shoot a 40 S&W. So, I will upgrade the spring to a 20#+. I did the same thing for the RIA because it came with a 16# spring, now it has a 20# and runs great.

The only reason I bought the Hunter (I had two 10mm already)was because the price was missed marked at Gander Mountain for $499.00. I could not pass up on a deal like that, normal price is $949.00+.
