    338 Fed I have one in a Tikka T3. It shoots the Barnes TSX 185 gr very well. I use it for black bears. Could use something smaller, but I prefer them to stop when shot in the terrain I hunt them. Regards

    Which gun for in the woods?

    polymer for me Glock 20 with 10 rd and 15 round mags filled with Double Tap 200 gr flat points. Use to carry a SBH 44mg or Ruger SP-101, but the G20 offers more rounds and lots out energy.
