glock 29 ?

i just traded for this glock 29 will it handle double taps 180 gr ammo ok or do ineed a heavier spring i wanted a duel purpos pistol .i,ll use lite stuff for every day carry and out in the woods and fishing the double tap or do you think it will be ok the way it is

Yes, it'll be totally fine. The 10mm Glocks were specifically designed for POWERFUL 10mm powered loads to be fired out of them. Don't worry.

shoot whatever you want! I have yet to find 10mm ammo that the a 29 wont eat...

As I will have almost NO choice for a 10MM semi Auto and HAVE to buy a Glock, can you tell me if the 10mm has a fully supported chamber?

ive seen maybe 10 smiles in 500 rounds but nothing more
but for 250dollar you can buy a fully supported, slip in, 16inch barrel

Nitstocker - I also have a G29 which I carry in the mountains. I have a couple G20 magazine which I have fitted with A&G magazine extrensions. These extensions fill the void between the g20 mag and the g29 frame. I believe TopGun Supply carries the A&Gs.

I stock my G29 with DoubleTap 200gr Beertooth.

The G29 and G30 were introduced as "Compacts", though that designation has changed.

KKM has a fully supported chamber in a stainless drop-in barrel for $185.00.
