    I might have to give it a try. I'd rather use a gun, but I know guys that hunt hogs with dogs and knives only. I don't think they would allow me to shoot toward their dogs.

    What Caliber for Moose?

    +1 caribou Moose are easy to get close to, so you don't necessarily need a long range rifle. Most any rifle cartridge that was designed for big game will do the job, if you do yours.
