    coating If he does coat the gun,pay close attention to the tightly fitting parts.anything that fits tight now will fit even tighter after coating,don,t count on letting the gun work itself loose it will bind up.you can use masking tape to cover the area you need too.

    If you just hit what is needed and don't linger it will be fine, kind of like a spot weld. it is really less heat than tig if done this way because there is heat up time.
