Say I had some Federal Value Pack ammo (12G, 3 DRAM eq, 1/8oz shot, 8 shot ~ you know, the Wal-Mart stuff). But they are 2 3/4" shells. The shotgun is a Topper model 98 and the barrel says 3" and a Modified choke. Is it safe to shoot that 2 3/4" ammunition out of that barrel?

Nice Marlin. Makes me miss my model 30A I had a while back for hunting. Just didn't like the 30-30 caliber that much. Great power but little distance. I preferred the 30-06 or even the 7.62x54R.

The best .22 is the one that will perform when you need it to and is comfortable for you. There are far to many guns out there and nobody has fired every single one of them to tell you which one is best. All we can do is pass around what we have heard (and even then, that can be full of it)...

Well I finally got time to tackle my old stevens model 107b single shot 12 gauge. I am not sure if the shotgun works. See my problem is the firing pin falls if the gun is tilted. I disassembled it and I am holding the receiver in my hand. If I hold it up in the air the firing pin sinks down...

Hello yall. I am back with some new firearms that I added to my collection. A semi-auto Savage Model 64fxp in .22LR and a Stevens Model 200 in .30-06 Spr. This is going to be a long post..... I was at Big5 and had a good $320 to blow so I figured why not add a new firearm to the collection...

My 511 works great but it is having a problem feeding the bullets. Like the magazine doesnt lock in all the way so I have to push it up for the next bullet to go in otherwise the bolt doesnt grab it. I am using a 10 round magazine instead of the usual 6. Any suggestions?

@Reloadron: my 511 has a 10 shot mag. Guess my father or my fathers father added it years ago. I see 6,10, and 15 round mags available for this firearm. a couple 15 round mags and its on haha. yeah thats what I said, all the other .22's I have shot are horribly inaccurate compared to this...

wow fast reply. thank you. whoops, im a new gun owner thank you for telling me. if it does not fire would that mean the firing pin is not hitting? any recommended ammo? i was just going to go down to walmart or big 5 and get the cheapest box of 22lr.
