I've got a repro De Lisle. (Shown here with my Reflex T16 .50bmg can)
Its a copy of a Sterling model De Lisle Carbine.
The guy who built it had exclusive access to an original which enabled him to build the replica as accurately as possible.
Its amazingly quiet, no problems with ejection...
Thanks for the info, primary extraction here is key as you dont want to be fighting the rifle during a course of fire.
Its all relative of course but we have 4 or 5 AR builders here in the UK.

Wow, thats some ugly duckling they got there ;)
Whilst I support any manufacturer bringing something new to the UK shooting scene, against a strong AR15 straightpull market, I'm not sure the R8 will cut the mustard.
Like the Steyr Aug before it , I can see some people buying one just to be...
Well if I remember correctly there's import duty (10% i think) and VAT to add (17.5%) plus shipping...then the dealer has to make some profit on it !
For info:
100 rounds 2007 surplus RG 62g 5.56 costs around £30
100 rounds of Wolf 9mm is £17
100 Privi 168g Match is now £59
New...
First off, the following groups were not shot by me, but someone I know who is currently serving.

Hi
Entries from across the pond allowed ? :D
I'll try to shoot a couple of targets (red dot and 4x optic) for the sporting rifle class tomorrow night after the Christmas shoot at my local club.
I'll be using a V22 AR15, all stock, non-free float, std milspec lower etc.
Cheers
Steven
I have 5 AR's of different flavours...4 of them wear either Magpul MIAD or MOE..
The fifth one has a std A2 grip purely because I haven't gotten around to swapping it out yet...:p
IIRC the AL42 (.223) conversion uses Ruger Mini-14 mags. (5 & 20 round).
Not sure why they chose those mags over standard AR mags, which are far more common over here. (Straight-pull AR15's dominate the Practical & Civilian Service Rifle matches over here)
Cheers
Steven
British .30 carbine rifles
There are two companies over here building ,30 carbine rifles.
Armalon produces a .30 carbine bolt action based on the Enfield action. http://www.armalon.com/public/products/item/8
I have a lever action AR15 chambered in .30 carbine too...
