The only .30 carbine bolt actionthat I can think of is the Mann Accuracy device.

Marlin did make the 62 Levermatic, which is a very modern, hammerless, shortthrow leveraction in .30 carbine for a few years.

About a year ago I found online a custom bolt gun maker that listed almost every caliber you could think of from 22 short to 50 bmg. Some of the ones I was really interested in were 577 snider 50-90 sharps 38 super 500 mag and 30 carbine. Unfortunately I can no longer find them. If any one does know who they were and has an address please pm me.

one of the absolute best ever was the Marlin levermatic57( or was it modle 56?); made in 22lr, but the action was so beefy, and all moving parts were steel, they made in to 256 winny, and 30 carbine. the levermatic, had speed cams in the trigger assy., allowed you to throw the lever, with just your pinky and ring finger, and all it moved was about 2plus inches. Awesome.

You can tell if you are looking at one, if the back of the action is squared off. if it is rounded like a mod 60, that is aluminum, and not made in 22 mag, 256, or 3o carbine.

Now that Armalon is interesting. In the lower right corner of the last pic, there is an add by them about it also being produced in .223. Do these use standard AR mags? If so I'd love to get my hands on one of them.

IIRC the AL42 (.223) conversion uses Ruger Mini-14 mags. (5 & 20 round).

Not sure why they chose those mags over standard AR mags, which are far more common over here. (Straight-pull AR15's dominate the Practical & Civilian Service Rifle matches over here)

Even better. Since I have 3 minis and about 12 20/30 round mags. Plus the 5 rounders.

Now if I could just get one on this side of the pond.
