It doesn't have the correct cartridge length (way too short), but because I'm shooting it in a SAA, it really doesn't matter. I guess I should just invest in a bullet puller. :mad:

The easiest way to spot a really good fake:
Take out one of the screws and look at it with a jeweler's loup. Old time screw making machinery made screws with a rounded top on the thread. Modern machinery makes a rather sharp angle at the top of the thread.
I pulled a hand out of my Uberti Walker and put it in an original first model Dragoon, and it worked perfectly (no I don't fire the Dragoon, but the gun cycles perfectly).
