I've shot the XD and the XDm. I can't tell the difference really. My XD however, with Springer love, has the best trigger you could ever want.
What I can say is that the XDm looks like something Bobafet puked. Aweful. Painfully so. Ugliest gun I've seen in a long long time. marketing ploy...
I have a OD green XD45 4". Lovingly dressed with a custom trigger from Springerprecision.com It is my most favored gun I own but I shoot it less than I would prefer due to ammo prices. I shoot my FNP9 much much more. You may want to give that gun a look also.
I love the breakdown, I love...
Wow!
What a beauty!!!
Reminds me of one I have in my safe. It was my granddad's and my grandmother gave it to me the day we buried him. He shot it some but I don't shoot it. I carry it from time to time but never pulled the trigger. It just feels right to keep it as is. I have lots of...
I also had a Tracker .357 and also a PT140.
The Tracker locked up twice while loaded and had to be sent back. Barrel was machined out of center on the gun. Threw that darn gun in the lake. No joke. I would not offer it to anyone and feel right about it.
The PT140 shot ok but was a POS...
I love springfield armory and I LOVE my XD45. But I think the XDM is ugly as sin and the grip texture is an abomination if you ask me:)
I'd buy a XD in your favorite flavor and send it off to scott springer for "love"
Fooon
danny,
I like the look of flat tops better but the red dot would probably make it much more functional without a stock in regards to setting up more accurate shots.
That's a 9mm I take it?
Not an uncool gun at all. I would not own a AR pistol in 5.56 but 9mm makes a pretty cool...
Wow, some really insightful intelligent replies thank you! Some donkey replies as well. Thanks for the chuckle NTL.
I will NOT sell my Romainian G model AK.
I will NOT sell my grand dad's 19-4 S&W.
This is why the list was created in the way it was, I should have posted that...
If you needed to sell some guns and this is what you had to work with, which order would you sell?
(my order of first to sell to last to sell)
Ruger 10/22 SS synthetic stock with scope.
Mossberg 500 with M4 stock, side saddle shell carrier, 18" breacher barrell, and 21" modified choke...
I am a big fan of these: http://www.doubletapammo.com/php/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=21_37&products_id=495
Bullet : Brass Jacketed JHP Made by Remington
Ballistics : 124gr @ 1310fps / 473ft. lbs. from a G17.
124 @ 1295fps / 462 ft. lbs. from a G19
For my uses the extreme light weight of the .38 version is best. I practice with .38's and load up +P JHP's for carry. If I feel I need a .357 I carry either my S&W 19-4 or split the difference with my FNP9. The .38 is 3.6 oz lighter. With a loaded weight of approx 1lb. I love this gun...
