I really appreciate all your opinions. With your advice, I think I'm going to stick to traditional sights and ditch the ambi-safety (less to get caught). So UTC with the extended magwell it is. Hopefully it won't take to long to get. Anybody have any idea on lead time for them to install the...
I'm in the market for a new 1911 and have somewhat settled on getting a Les Baer. The two models I'm currently considering are the Premier II & the Custom Carry. I'm also leaning towards getting the extended Magwell addition. Any thought between the two? Others I should considering...
Do people not realize that the Quicken Wills are written by a team of very competent lawyers? I'm not drafting up my own trust from a blank sheet.
I don't see why so many people recommend paying $400+ for a NFA trust written by one lawyer over a $30 for a Quicken trust written by a team of...
I have a Quicken Will that I easily did myself, wasn't a problem getting approved. When I see people saying that you should get a lawyer to do it, I assume:
1) They are a lawyer.
2) They are still justifying how much they paid a lawyer for their trust.
I really haven't come across any wording...
Hi All!
I'm thinking of setting up some 6" or 8" AR500 (3/8" thick) gongs for plinking with .22lr. They will be free swinging (although I doubt that matter much with .22lr), and I'm wondering if anybody thinks I should be concerned with ricochet? I'll likely be shooting from 15yds to 30yds...
This took off so much better than I could have ever expected! I'm really glad the community was willing to take the time to vote on this. I did it to show a new shooter that a .22 was not only a great starter gun, but that ever very experienced shooters lover their .22s. I'd say you all exceeded...
I was thinking about this earlier today, so I wanted to post a poll here. Obviously I hope we can get a nice little discussion going as well. I always recommend .22lr for a first gun and own a .22lr Rifle (Savage MKII) and .22lr pistol (S&W M&P22). So THR, how many of you have .22s? Do you...
Selling it above what people can get it for new is going to have people just ignore your listing, just FYI. Something like $475 is reasonable and more likely to actually get sold.
Woops. Sorry didn't realize you were including the scope. $550 is probably a good starting price.
What's to bad it that if that paid attention to the details, it seems like they are setup to turn out a really nice product, especially for the price. Instead they are just running stocks through a CNC/Mill and hoping for the best, not even checking to see if they are close to being properly...
All,
I waited as long as I could, as I really wanted this to work out for the best, but at this point I think it's only fair to let the community know about these stocks and the manufacturer. I ordered a wooden stock for my Savage MKII back in February. I waited and I waited. Finally on June...
