The SS Sparrow has an o-ring that is supposed to help seal off the pistol threads from the rest of the suppressor. It also adds friction to resist turning. The extension is to engage the o-ring.

It isn't so much that they can pull a lawyer move, but that they will make an official reply to the petition. It basically forces them to go on record.

Fun at first, but then it's air soft lineage starts to show. I haven't shot it in a year or two. It has been totally replaced by a suppressed 10/22.
