Hey there,

Name is Brian, I actually just re-registered with another handle. I registered several years ago but was gone from the forum for a long time and wanted a fresh start.

I am in the process of moving from CA (woo hoo!) to AZ to start my own business.

I love to shoot and am of course pro 2A.

Anybody know the good shops / ranges in and around the Peoria / Glendale area? Hopefully there are places nearby I can go out and just shoot in the desert.

I stink but like shooting clays too.

new member from washington

hey guys newbie from washington state. i actually have been on this forum for a long time i just never registered. i got alot of info from here before i started getting into my form 1 suppressor build. lots of very good and helpfull info here so wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted pics and info of their builds. I will soon be posting pics of my build once i get it finished. i dont have a lathe, so i had to use a combination of various parts from different maglite DIY builds i found on amazon and ebay. more on that coming soon.

on a side note, i am trying to register on silencer talk to get ahold of a member, and for the life of me its just not working! i tried AOL and a college email and never got the registration confirmation email even several days later. i tried to contact an administrator through the contact link on the forum and it wont even let me send a message through there. comes up with some subject error and wont let me send. i tried resend activation email and still nothing. so if anyone could please help me out with this issue, i would really appreciate it. if you know a moderator on that forum or a contact email please send me a private message, or i could give you my email so you could give it to a moderator and have them contact me. any help would be appreciated.

Greetings from East Missouri

Hello all and fellow hunting, firearms and reloading super guys. Been one since about 1957. Have hunted much of NA, some Europe and several trips to RSA.

Greetings to all,

Gunfighter's gun 1858 Remington?, original

Just got on here. Have an old gun. Cannot find numbers because it was rusted badly when I discovered it behind a workbench. Trying to load the picture. Was told it was a gunfighter's gun, since the guard and trigger were shortened.

Resurrected myself, been gone long time, HOWDY YA'LL

Apparently I joined the highroad back in January 2014. But unfortunately I don't remember that. Brain ain't what it used to be.

Anyway, I recently acquired a new toy...albeit a 120-year-old toy....

Was told you folks know a few things, by my friends over at Rimfire Central.

It's good to be back!

I'll post my question in the correct forum....

Newb

Hi all,

New member here. Joined after reading lots of post and finding lost of good info. I do have a question. I own a sig p320c. It has a dual captive rsa.( I hope my terminalligy is correct). Its counterpart (kind of) the p250c does not. The only reason I'm bringing this up is because they make an aftermarket stainless guide rod for the 250c that uses a single reciol spring. Looks cool don't know if it makes a difference or not. But does anybody know if these rsa's are interchangeable? Will a p250c guide rod work in a p320c? Thanks for any help, and I hope I don't soundlike a dunce. :banghead:

Hello from Saskatchewan Canada. I am an all around firearms enthusiast and am particularly fond of Smith & Wesson's.

My first gun was my grandfathers Cooey model 60 rifle that was handed down to me when I was seven. I'm almost 50 now and I still have that rifle. It started a lifelong love of firearms and shooting.

Hello everyone from Vienna/Austria!

Even though, we have great forums over here as well, I appreciate the possibility to discuss with a wide range of people and to get some views on things from "over the pond". I am a fairly new shooter - bought my first gun about 14 months ago - but collected some experience over this last year. My favorite gun would be my Glock 19, followed right by my Ruger american rimfire!
And as I got a great deal on a Colt 1851 last week, I will be starting in a whole new gun world when things get a bit warmer and less snowy over here.

Hello. I am a newby from remote Montana. I have spent 55 years hunting elk, deer and whatever was needed. I was a professional trapper through college. I spent 40 years in the wilderness looking at metal mines. Guns of many kinds have been my backup that has kept me alive. I'm interested in reloading, rifles, revolvers, shotguns, and anything I don't already know. After 37 years in government I have a healthy concern of what the government is doing or planning to do to the people.

Why do I feel like I'm at an AA meeting?

Hi, I'm Bill and I have a gun problem....I can't afford to acquire all the great guns I see out there and have to pick and choose which to collect.

It all started of course with that first BB gun at age 7. My parents thought I could never reach it on top of the 'fridge...but they were wrong. Fast forward to many years later when I moved to a state where guns are not BAD and relearned how much fun it was to shoot and talk to others about guns, history and collecting.

My interests are varied and mostly include target shooting and reloading.

I have enjoyed reading the interesting and varied opinions on THR and recently registered to post as well.

Back again after a long hiatus

Hello all!

I'm back after a long time away, and I'm looking forward to reconnecting with teh community. I'm not whiz-bang tactical, or a former operator. Just a fairly well trained amateur with an interests in shooting, personal protection/combatives, and a few other things.

If you feel like it, get in touch!

Cheers,

Michael

Glad to be here!

Hello everyone! It's a good day to join a forum! I've been meaning to do this for a while, so this is a pretty good start to my morning. A little history bout me: (The good parts anyway) As I've gotten older, my passion for firearms has grown tremendously! It started when I was around 9, and my stepfather brought home some firearm magazines. One day I had stayed home "sick" from school, so I decided if I couldn't play video games, I was gonna read a little.

After about a hour, I was hooked on firearms. Fast forward ~ a decade and now I own a Yugoslavian sks and a Remington 700 in 30-06.

Im 19, living with my fiance in a small apartment, and though we don't make a lot of money, we're just happy being independent. (BTW I live in NY, so yes, I'm aware of the ridiculous laws here)

For future note: Since I use my phone most often to use the internet, please forgive any spelling mistakes, as my big ol' fingers often miss a key and it might go unnoticed by me! :banghead:
