Ok - got my Wilson Brigadier slide back from Trijicon, so I can now finally take another "wheel" photo that includes the M9A1 compact!

Yes, the trigger reach on the compact is the same. Only the slide/barrel is shorter, and the grip is not quite as long

Love seeing those Berettas! Think I would go with the M9A3 as my favorite.

Actually - despite it not being black... The M9A3 is my favorite out of all of them to shoot. Beretta really outdid themselves with that. It even comes with a D spring already installed by the factory, and they massaged the moving parts in the trigger. Smoothest trigger ever on a Beretta 92 variant. And, it comes that way new.

Shipwreak how do you like the PX4 in comparison?
Are they worthy of the "wheel"?

I have owned three fullsize PX4s over the years... one in 40 (ONLY 40 cal handgun I have ever liked enough to own) and two in 9mm.

They are very nice guns. However, I find the gun a bit slippery. And, I wish they had slide indentations on the side, like Glocks and other guns do. They shoot very well, but the grip isn't my favorite.

I do prefer the compact PX4 model more than the fullsize - which is what I currently have (a compact - it still has the rotating barrel, unlike the subcompact model). I don't care for the fullsize Hogue Handall - but the Hogue Jr grip on the PX4 compact is just perfect. I have the same Hogue Jr on my HK P2000. They work great on a gun with a slightly shorter grip.

I will say that I still prefer the 92 platform over the PX4, however

Thanks for the information.
I have an M96 that I like, accurate and controllable recoil.
Will have to try a compact PX!

Very Nice and thanks for all the help with my 92 question. Hopefully I will get my first spoke in a week or two!
