Agreed, you'll see a bump up in velocity as the silencer acts (almost) like a bit of extra barrel length allowing the pressure to act on the bullet longer before it exits the bore.
It's noticeable enough that ammo which is just barely subsonic out of a bare barrel will often become supersonic with the can added. If your reloads are very close to the line, you might want to drop the charge down a hair to keep them subsonic when you install the silencer.
