From the linked article: "Engle said his AR-15 inventory ranges in price from around $350 to $8,000."

Wonder what a $350 ready to roll AR consists of? New or used?

A fellow at work (Security officer) was one of them.

Y'all did notice all four proposed gun control laws were shot down yesterday, right? :)

But yea, some folks got nervous, no doubt.

Right now they simply don't have the clout (Votes) to get it done, no matter how badly they would like to. That said, we must keep fighting, and pick and choose candidates wisely in November. Work on candidates you like overall but may need some prodding in the pro gun area. Letters, emails, phone calls, make them hear the pro gun voice.

Just don't slack up in the fight.

ARs are becoming more and more mainstream, making it harder for the antis to demonize them. More people know the truth about them, so the lies and exaggerations by the media are more easily noticed.

Biggest problem on the horizon is the appointment of possibly 3 Supreme Court Justices.
The number of guns and magazines in the hands of individuals is comforting but we can only imagine what would happen if the court ruled against the 2A as we see it today.

I had already but just started looking into getting an AR but was a little hesitant to pull the trigger until what happened in Florida. I am smart enough not to get ripped off and was lucky enough to pick up a colt LE6920 with magpul furniture, NIB for 800 out the door. Needless to say, that dealer sold out in just a few hours at that show, while every other dealer at the show was selling dpms and other entry level AR's for 1,500+!!! Was also lucky enough to get 10 pmags for 12 a piece.

^ You did good!

If anyone wanted to put a few lowers on the shelf for cheap, primary arms has Anderson lowers for $50 / ea, limit of 3. I can't comment on the quality of the lowers (mine have not shipped yet). For $50 / ea, just seemed like a good idea..

Even if we lose the White House, we really need to save the Senate. GOP Senate = no judges appointed to SCOTUS.

This is just one gun shop in one state, imagine what the nation wide numbers are right now, through the roof!

I looked at the website for that company, it didn't strike me at all as a massive quantity gun dealer. Perhaps they are a distributor as well as a retailer?

Sorry but I don't believe it. Maybe 30,000 combined by every company in the entire country. I've never even heard of his company so it clearly is not one of the big internet retailers. Maybe I'm looking at the wrong Hunter's Warehouse, but I went to his website and it literally only has one centerfire rifle for sale, a Delton.

There's a lot that isn't credible in that story. The biggest being that there are a couple of "Hunters' Warehouse" sites, but neither of them has ANYTHING like the scale claimed in the article.

If they'd talked to Bud's, or CDNN, or any of the wholesalers they might have some credibility but this sounds completely made up. If he had anything close to 400,000 guns ready for sale, that would be nearly 2% of the entire year's sales processed through the NICS system last year.

We would not be sitting here saying, "WHO?"

This place certainly doesn't seem like it could supply those numbers. http://hunterswarehouse.net/

Anderson seems to be the low cost lower for lots of builds. AIM Surplus was selling them for $40, I think they're sold out now.

I installed a PSA complete upper on an Anderson lower, nice fit, finish, and it functioned perfectly. The lower parts kit grip screw seemed a little long, I shimmed it with a few washers and that worked out fine. I have only good things to say about Anderson lowers.
