I'm not sure where to post this.

I put it here because it's Revolver ammo.

If this is the wrong place, the mods can move it.

Recently I noticed that Speer has a standard pressure Gold Dot load that I figure might work well in older Aluminum frame guns like my S&W 37.

It's uses a 125 gr bullet.

Speer Gold Dot - 38 Special 50 Round 125 Grain Ammo | SGAmmo

Has anyone had experience with this round?

Are there any gel tests or chrono data out there?

I haven't been able to find much about it.

I would also be concerned with it shooting low.

In my older M37 I use the standard pressure Buffalo Bore 158 lead JHP. It prints to POA for me at 25 ft. Not cheap, but after making sure it would wok I don't shoot much of it. For practice I rely on 148 WC.

I have carried factory 148 wadcutters in a J frame for years. Bullet is already in efficient shape, good penetration, low recoil, easy on shooter and gun.
