Here's a graphic example of why kydex, even the modern pancake designs, typically won't conceal as well as leather - they don't bend and conform to the body.

I realize this is an IWB demonstration picture, but it would be the same if this guy was using the Phantom OWB. Hey, I'm a fan of the RCS Gear Phantom and recommend them all the time. The Phantom conceals significantly better than "classic" kydex like a Blade-Tech SRB, or the old Comp-Tac belt holster, because it at least makes an effort to tuck the grip of the gun into the body. However, in general, I'd pick a leather pancake over just about any OWB kydex holster for concealment.
