ARES "AR" Lower and 50 beowulf Upper?

Don't know why it wouldn't hold up, but I'd suggest getting the Gen 2 version, better trigger and other features.

This is exactly what I want to do, just trying to justify the cost right now. If my darn truck would only sell...

The (relatively low pressure/33ksi) BeoWooof matches up w/ a standard lower -- including standard buffer.

I want one of these lowers built into a big bore myself. Seems cheaper than buying and converting a mini-14/30 ranch in the long run.

I think it would be a lot better than a converted mini. But that is where the idea started for me. I just like ar mags, and I love the way a shotgun points, it's just a great idea. And a Boyd's Remington 1100 stock can go on the lower with a little modding.. For a woods rifle I don't think you could go wrong.

That would be pretty neat with a walnut Remington 1100 stock and walnut forend.

I want to get a Boyd's stock and forend set and reshape the inside of the forend to fit over a slim octagonal full length free float. Kinda like a heavy barreled Israeli fal. I think it would be cool...
