I'm curious what anyone's results were especially if you have a 12 twist rifle in 223 or 22-250.
My 22-250 almost stabilized a 68 gr Hornady so I have my fingers crossed.

I have shot a bunch of them. They work great in my 1 in 8" twist Stag Model 6. (10 shot groups under 1" at 100 yards). And more than acceptable in my 1 in 9" twist 20" barrel, as well as a pair of 16" carbines with 1 in 9" and 1 in 8" twist rates. It has become the "go to" bullet for all our AR's. Now the bad news: My Remington 700 SPS Varmint could not keep them on the 8 1/2 x 11 target at 100 yards, despite its 26" barrel. I was hoping the additional velocity from the long barrel might be enough to stabilize it in the 1 in 12" twist, but not for me. This was with 24.5 gr of Tac and 23.7 gr of IMR-8208XBR. I have heard others claim they were able to get it to shoot in a 1 in 12" twist, but I didn't. The 62 gr SPBT is significantly shorter and did at least group, if not super impressive. (around 1.5" for 5 shots at 100 yards).
I ordered them from Graf's.

I do have a 1-9 AR I can run them through if all else fails.
My 223 won't stabilize silver bear 62 grain or 53 Vmax, so it does not surprise me.

Initial testing in my 1:7 ARs is promising, over a charge of H335. It's nice to find a reasonably cheap bullet besides the generic 55fmj.

If you are looking for a cheaper bullet, but with better accuracy than a 55 gr FMJ that has a better chance of working in a 1 in 12" twist, you could try these:

At .08 per bullet, they aren't quite as accurate as the 62 gr HPBT in the fast twist barrels, but were serviceable in the slower twist.
I have 52 hpbt and 55 sp for my 223. Those might make a great deer bullet.
