which powder to use for 22-250?

I am preparing to reload some 22-250 brass and I was curious if anyone had any suggestions on powders to use. I have your standard winchester brass, winchester primer and hornady 50 gr vmax boat tail bullets. Has anyone used a similar combination? What powder did you use? Let me know. Thanks.

I get excellent groups using a 52gr A-Max over 35.0gr Varget in my Ruger No.1-V...five shots inside a quarter at 100 yards and I'm the limiting factor, not the rifle or the load.

Also had pretty good luck with H380, but I haven't done that much load development with it yet.

Agreed. Varget and H380 are the best I've used too. Don't forget to give the 55 gr Match Berger's a try. They're about the same price as most other bullets but VERY accurate.
