Found a Grail Gun Today

Found one of my grail guns today. 3.5” Pre Mod 27 from 1955. Has a few small spots of blue wear where it laid an a drawer but other than that looks unfired. Grips number to gun. First 3.5” I’ve seen in person in 15-20 years. If the rain lets up I will shoot the snot out of it tomorrow..

Very Nice! A 3.5 inch M27 (or pre 27) is also my grail gun. I have not yet seen one in person.

Gorgeous!
Would love to get a 3.5" N-frame eventually......though I did just pass on a stainless 3.5" .44spl just recently for $600 as it was severely scratched, had timing issues and wasn't a caliber I stock.

My Grail gun is also a Model 27, but with 8 3/8 inch barrel in a Walnut presentation case. :thumbup:

I recently bought a 27-2 with 8 3/8" Barrel. Didn't have a presentation case, but what a beautiful gun. It is a tack driver too.

Congratulations. That 357 Magnum is so superior to anything S&W is producing now you should be very happy and proud to own it. Enjoy you range session when it comes...and don't just shoot 38 Specials. (smile)
