Williams FP Peep sight ?? Model #1340

I am looking to upgrade to a rear peep sight for older aging eyes.
My question has anyone installed the above peep sight on a 1980 Lyman rifle.
williams state the above sight fits hawkens and renegade model Pre 1991
I can't seem much of a difference between the t/c and Lyman

I would be a little bit wary

I went with the Lyman peep sight on a GPR. Much better sight.
