I am trying to look for a 44 mag with iron sights, or known to some as open sights. I have found several lever action rifles but I would like something different if possible. I found cva break barrel but they don't have the sights.

Break barrel
Bolt action
Lever action

Trying to be at low cost right now. $500 or less

You should be able to find a used Marlin 1894 for about $500, maybe a bit more. That would be my choice regardless, and realistically is probably the least expensive option.

Picked up a CVA break action .44 for the grand kids to deer hunt, you are correct, they come with no sights. By the time you add some you'd almost have what a Henry single action would run, and it comes with irons.

Im a big fan of my 16" SS Rossi 92'. Whole lotta thump in a little package. Comes with buck horn sights, but a rear peep is not an expensive add on.

I used their inexpensive picitinay mount and bolted up a TRS25 red dot. I think it's a nice complement to the carbines handy size and close range capabilities.

only if i could find any lol.

The IMI Timberwolf .44 magnum pump I got to shoot is IMO the very best .44 mag hunting rifle that has been made.

They are unfortunately out of production, hard to find, and expensive.

Bolt gun like the Ruger 77/44 or if you want a semi-auto an old Ruger 44 Carbine. Either make for a good choice in a 44 magnum rifle. Then there is an endless stream of lever guns to choose from of which I like the older Marlin guns.
