S&W suppressor barrel

Probably, threaded for a compensator.

The cylinder gap is a huge problem for suppressing revolvers, it has been done but with heavily modified revolvers.

I guess with a starting bid of $55 and no bidders, no one is interested in it. Seems like a neat piece of history to me. What’s the chances that it’s a standard suppressor thread?

Very interesting (and pretty much useless) conversation piece. I'm not seeing the caliber mentioned anywhere.

Basically it was a .44mag she'll, but with the payload coming out of a .40 smoothbore. The mv was something like 800 fps, so not much power but I have read of at least one confirmed kill using that system.
