My kids are still young, as a single dad the only hunting I get is the occasional bargain and an afternoon of rabbits.
(But that is mostly eating beforehand and drinking after.

The last good firearms related deal I had was around 3 years ago when I found a retailer had put the wrong price on some 8mm 200gr Sierra matchking bullets. RRP is usually £45 for 100 but one of the regular websites I use showed up on £24 or so. I bought the lot of them, which was followed by a price fix the following week.

I tried the next slot back and no dice. I’ll fire up the Google-fu and see what comes up. I’ve seen pistols like the M&P Core with milled slides but never really paused to take a gander at Brownings.

My wife used to run rabbit club for 4H and still breeds Dwarf Hotots, no time to hunt them lately. 6 kids, 6 rabbits, 5 cats, and our little 4-month old rescue “puppy”. She’s only supposed to grow for another 14 months or so though so I’m crossing my fingers she’ll be a runt as she just hit 54 lbs.

Ya, I would have preferred 1:8 which was why I was looking hard at the Ruger American Predator before I bought it. I liked the Ranch too but just didn't want to go as short as 16.5".

It is and she’s growing like a weed, but decidedly my wife’s little girl.

She was a special case, purebred that I’m certain the owner poisoned purposely. Same breeder got the same story from the owner’s sister, demanded a refund, wanted to keep the dogs, both relinquished ownership for lack of funds to pay the vet bill, then wanted the dogs back after they showed improvement. They also happened to use 2 different vets in town.

When the wife brought her home she couldn’t lift her head to eat let alone walk and thr boss gave her a soft date to show improvement or be put down. After daily trips home, rigging up a sling to bear weight, wrapping her legs, and a whole lot of love that dog is actually walking up and down steps, taking walks, and doing a few sprints with the kids. So the owner of the clinic took into account the efforts of his employee and my wife and our family has a dog.

Poor pup. There is a special place in hell for people who abuse animals. I would like to see stiff penalties for people who put helpless animals through that kind of hell.

I hear she should top out at about 7’ standing on her hind legs so she can check me for bald spots I guess.

And yes, everyone ought to have one really good dog. My 10 year old was leading her around by command today and he only bests her by 5 lbs or so. I was concerned when the wife said hound but this dog rarely speaks.
