Over the past few months, I have completed several projects that involved putting optics on iron sight rifles. One of my M1A rifles, and now two of my ARs are wearing glass.
This Bushmaster finishes off the list of projects, which is good, 'cause I am going broke.
The Weaver 1.5-4.5X Classic Extreme scope was on sale at Natchez. The mount is the ARMS #2, the rings are ARMS #21 STANAG.

Yes how do you like the Weaver? I am looking for an optic for my Saiga 12 and that is on the short list that is a good price too at natchez.

I just got my Natchez catalog, good thing I don't need anything....or do I...

Here's a Hakko bdc I picked up on my M4gery. I think I'm going to move it to my A1.

looks good. how do you like the scope?

I have not gotten to the range yet, but the glass is very clear, there is nothing amiss as you run up through the magnification, the quick focus is exellent.
The red dot illumination is much brighter than my Leupold 1.5-5x 30mm scope, and can actually be used in bright daylight as a red dot aiming point.
The box is marked 'made in Japan', and it seems to be a cousin at least, of the Bushnell 6500 line and the high end Nikon scopes.

That is not a coincidence, they are made by the same company that makes the Bushnell Elites.
