I’m considering converting my Remington 600 to a blind magazine. The plastic trigger guard bothers me and I’d like to replace it. Now it does not have the dog leg bolt. The previous owner had the bolt straightened and is now similar to a model seven bolt. Do you know if a model seven stock will fit the 600? I’m thinking the actions may be similar enough now with the new bolt handle shape, Or can be made to fit? I’ve also heard of bdl triggerguard conversions in 600 stocks.

If anyone has a Remington model seven, I would greatly appreciate some inlet measurements. Or general suggestions.

Contact Boyds Gunstocks. If anyone knows, it’s them. They likely can make what you want.

I got the requirement to replace the trigger guard, but do you specifically want to replace the stock as well?

If not, Numruch makes a repro metal 600 trigger-guard/bottom metal. Two versions, this is the Mohawk one:

A few folks make stocks. Many unfinished, so they will be projects. For a change of style: https://www.boydsgunstocks.com/gunstocks/ft-rem-mohawk-600-sa-fbc-3ub362b06zz
These guys have a lot of variety and list the 600 as an action they support http://www.rifle-stocks.com/

Chasing you around on these threads.
Bansner 600 stock, Heritage Arms steel floor plate, pachmayr Decelerator pad.
Model 7 receiver is completely different than 600. Model 7 stocks do not fit 600 without serious modifications. Mark Bansner's 600 stock is light, 18 oz. And the comb design is perfect for low mount scope. They are 98% inletted and come perfect for the end user to apply paints, pads etc to their liking. Brownells used to sell them and I know Banser went through some changes so he may not even be building them now, but it's worth finding out. The Heritage floor plate is spendy but top quality and their 700 style bolt release works great.
The OEM trigger (assuming you have it), should have a small "v" stamped on left side indicating Remington performed the safety recall. The recall is still active if you are inclined to send them the rifle.
