I laughed too lol

Also the poll options don't include any that I would consider a picket pistol, like the P3at.

Doesn't include mine either and if you saw the other thread I started you know I am actively looking for a new pocket pistol in 9mm.

And yes I laughed. Telling a Mod to get lost is not in your best interest if you plan on being here awhile.

Seems like you left out all the popular pocket pistols that are generally used as pocket pistols with the exception of Kahr CM9/PM9 and the Sig P239/P938... Most on the list aren't used as pocket pistols by most.

With that said, based on your list I'd say that more people pocket carry the aforementioned Kahrs and Sigs.

You know you pretty much told a moderator to F.O.?

My pockets hold a Taurus TCP or a Beretta 950BS 25 auto. Thats all I own that will fit in my pockets in the way of autos.

I stayed within the confines of the code of conduct where the moderator was concerned. If he doesn’t like it that’s just too bad.

I didn't vote for any as I don't consider any of them pocket pistols. Even my Kahr CM9 is too big for my pocket. My currently carried pocket pistols are:
DB9 - The largest of my guns that I can pocket carry.
LCP
P32
NAA 22 revolvers

Anything bigger than these are subcompacts and carried IWB.

The CZ 45 (25 acp) was my first pocket pistol. It was supplanted by the NAA Guardian (32 acp). Which was supplanted by the LCP which I still carry some times. The P32 (grey) is what I carry at work everyday in my secure office enviroment.

To me a pocket pistol is a pistol that can actually be carried in and drawn from a pants pocket.

None of the pistols on my list are pocket pistols??? I have attached a picture of my KAHR in a DeSantis pocket holster that is marketed as The Superfly. The flap prevents the pistol from printing in my pocket. DeSantis makes one of these holsters for every pistol on my list save one: The Glock 48. I included the G48 as a number of gun writers have compared the G48 to one of the greatest “pocket pistols” of all time: The 1903 Colt Hammerless. These are not pocket pistols??? Every one of these and the DeSantis pocket holster fit nicely in the right front pocket of my suits, dress slacks and my casual slacks (Dockers). The configuration of this holster keeps the butt of my pistol oriented at 12:00. The neoprene covering ensures that when I draw the pistol, the pistol is the only thing that comes out of my pocket. Not pocket guns??? I’ll have to call DeSantis and let them know they got it all wrong.

Not to pile on, but didnt/couldn't vote because I don't really consider any on the list to be pocket pistols

Unfortunately my daughter made me retire my 1990's "Vanilla Ice" parachute pants a year or so ago. She said they were embarresing... pffft... kids know absolutely nothing about "style"!

Here is a pic of me when I used to pack my .50 Barrett "Pocket Gun".

Must be headed to a formal event, shoes were a dead giveaway .

Taurus PT22. Not on your list but it is what I carry in my pocket. The Shield would be too big for my pocket and I really like the no-rack, tilt-up barrel. My pocket carry will change as soon as I get the Beretta .32 ACP Tomcat.

You can buy a pocket holster for a glock 19 too. That fact doesn't make it's a pocket pistol.

Used to carry a G29 in the right front BDU pocket. Does that count?

Shield 45 is almost to big to carry in the pocket of jeans. It fits but is a PITA to draw.

It fits but is a PITA to draw.

I get the feeling many who pocket carry micro 9's and 45's don't practice with them that way. Both my P938 and MK9 get hung up on the draw once I wrap my mitts around them. I mean, they both easily will physically fit in my pockets, but removing them under stress will almost certainly put me in a Chinese finger trap of sorts.

I can't even fit a Shield in my jacket pocket and draw it well.

Pocket guns for me are .380 and below (if we aren't counting snubbies). The LCP II probably has the best range trigger, but it has not been as reliable as my old first gen LCP with the mile long trigger.

My nod goes to the BG .380. Compact, rugged, and true double strike capability.

The bunch of 9s listed in the poll I would (and do carry the Shield) IWB.

My pockets are always full with important things like my wallet, knife, copenhagen, etc., so I just carry my shield 9 in a IWB raven concealment holster.

In Subcompact 9mm (which is how I'm interpreting this) I really like my P365 but they have had some teething problems (Broken strikers primarily in early pistols and some with light strikes). Mine only gets light strikes when it gets dirty (400 Rounds + of WWB). Never had it do it with anything else but the most I've ever went is about 600 rounds of the S&B NATO I prefer for training. I believe the soft strike is caused by being dirty and very minimally in battery. Strikes are off center. I've seen this in some Glocks as well.

If you have large hands the P365 has minimal real estate to avoid inadvertently contacting controls. I believe the Hellcat might be better.

PS I don't mind carrying the P365 I've just learned not to use dirty ammo with hard primers and clean it every 500 rounds.

I was thinking of an undercover cop that didn't have undercover shoes. o_O

I'm not a big pocket carry guy, in my case the non-accessibility of it at the Moment of Truth is sort of a deal-breaker. Sort of the same thing with my old carry piece, a Colt Government .380, which I carried hammer down on a loaded chamber because I did NOT trust the slide safety. A few draw-and-shoot drills with that told me I needed to look for a better solution, and I think a pistol carried in my pocket would be the same.

Having said that, I have considered picking up a Kahr P380, certainly there is some sort of IWB holster that will carry it at the ready with a better concealment option than true pocket carry.... because at the end of the day, carrying a pistol in your pocket is better than leaving it on the dresser...

when it comes to size and ease and comfort little beats the p32.

Yup, couldn't have said it better. My P365 does fit in my pocket, but I wouldn't exactly consider it an ideal pocket gun. It's more an inside-the-waist-band affair (that's how I carry mine, anyways).
The P32 and similar size pistols are what I'd consider true pocket pistols. You'll forget that hole puncher is even there.

I can pocket carry my M&P40c. I'm 6'2" and usually wear khaki tac pants of some flavor that have huge front pockets. But I much prefer an IWB or OWB rig...

Pistol is in the pocket...

It prints pretty bad if I sit down or lift my leg much, though...

I think I could easily do a P365 or Hellcat with a Remora. But not in jeans.
