Wilson Combat grip module

I put a couple of boxes of ammo through WC grip. I know someone who bought one and he let me swap my chassis into it to test. So, I can see the appeal, just not $65 worth of appeal. It feels a little like holding 1911A1, which is actually super weird at first. Once I got used to it, I found that it may enhance the control a little bit. But I would prefer someone make an equivalent of Vertec Beretta.

It is interesting and I can see a lot of thought went into it to make it very "Wilson-like". I have a friend who got one and we were able to compare it to my X-series Carry grip module.

1. The Wilson is closer to the Small module than the Medium. That is what gives it it's slimmer feel.
2. The undercut trigger guard is very much like that on the X-series but Wilson didn't really take the beavertail up very much. I think it was to give it more of a 1911 feel as opposed to the highest grip possible.
3. The molded in enlarged magwell opening is nice and well executed
4. The texture is on the front and rear are excellent, that on the sides is a bit less aggressive than I expected...more suited to carry than competition

I found the Wilson grip module to be more comfortable in my hand than the X-Carry, but it didn't allow as high a grip or as positive an index on the presentation

After the short stint with Wilson Combat grip, I decided to give the P80 a try. So far I'm not 100% happy, because it's very large: noticeably larger than the stock SIG module. The bottom is as big as WC, but top is larger. The texture is abrasive like M&P 2.0.
