Hi, does anyone have any experience with the latest Armalite AR10 "Tac" series rifles? Since DPMS is no more, I'm wondering how they compare in reliability and parts compatibility. I know they have different receiver specs, but Armalite finally adopted the PMAG/SR-25 standard. Who makes compatible bolt parts?

I was fortunate to be selected to be on the evaluation team for the industry choice awards that would have been presented at this years now canceled NRA show in Nashville. One of the rifles was the new POF AR-15 that they figured out how to squeeze a 308 into.

Slick bit of engineering magic and it shot very nicely and was reliable.

Much lighter than any AR10 I have handled.

Worth a look. It was my pick for rifle of the year.

Is it this one? https://pof-usa.com/firearms/revolution-di/

Looks interesting, but prolly out of my price range. I've got a line on an Armalite AR10TAC16 for $1600 out the "door".

What's frustrating is I've never seen any of these (POF, Armalite, Stag) on a dealer's rack. Academy has (had) Bushmaster's version, and I didn't like it. I've seen more SCAR 17s on racks than anything else.

I won't hang anything off the rifle but a scope, so I'm kinda indifferent to rail types.
