I have had a night stand handgun for many years now. For some reason this year I have been thinking I need to back it up with something a little larger. You know, For when things start to get out of hand. I have been thinking about a 12ga. pump. I went down to the gun shop near me but they had nothing like what I was looking for. Sold out the guy said. It's been crazy around here. Went to two more gun shops. Same thing. One did have a church hill 12ga. Made in turkey I think it was. $300. The stock seemed thin plastic. Like I could crush it in my hand. I stopped by the pawn shop to see what they had. A Mossberg 500a with a 18 1/2 and 28 inch barrels for $319 . And a New Haven 600 with a 18 1/2, and 28 inch barrels $285. Both basically the same gun. Both over priced I thought. The Mossberg was a little nicer so that's the one I got with the last 4 boxes of buck shot in town.
