Are there any good, budget friendly AR's chambered in 7.62x39?
I still don't have an AR and am just looking at all options

BCA has some x39 options, as does psa. Personally I tend to default to BCA because of the side charging upper.
For the x39 tho I'd probably go with psa's ks47 lower, and a BCA sidencharging upper.
Your probably right, i havent tried to put one together yet.I may be mistaken, but I don’t think you can mix and match the PSA KS-47 upper or lowers With other brands because the PSA has a hybrid AK/AR bolt. It has that because it uses AK mags versus AR 7.62 mags.

From the pictures bolts look different, the bolt carriers look the same to me....the uppers probably different, didn't think about that.....might still see if I can't make a side charger fit
Those are cool, friend if mine suggested the same thing when I mentioned my idea to him too lol.
I just picked up my new16” rifle a few days agoBCA makes the lowest price standard AR upper in 7.62x39 but they also have a low reputation as well. PSA was making short barrel AR pistol uppers in 7.62x39 but I haven't seen them sell rifle length barrel versions in a while.
Mine shoots the same with wolf.Watch Bear Creek Arms for sales around Labor Day. They make great uppers mine does this kind of pattern at 100yds, I was totally surprised & happy that it was hitting that good with cheap Wolf black box rounds.
This is 10 rounds from 100yd away with Wolf black box ammo.
