Thanks for the reminder to update my inventory. It’s a new quarter, time to see what’s getting low. Someone also suggested separating the primers from the powder. I think I’ll do that, too!
I'll have a little less when our grandson leaves this afternoon. He's coming out to the house today to learn how to load for his 1911 45ACP.
Does that work with guns too? Cause I need something better than...."ITS NOT MINE!!!!! ......yet"I have long ago fixed the answer for this question as well as others by simply not keeping track.
Never have to lie to Mrs. Morris this way.
Does that work with guns too?
HUH! So that's why she has no idea how many different beads are in her beading tackle boxes....or where my shiney nickle plated bullets went ....Absolutely, also works with shoes and purses. You didn’t think I came up with that on my own did you? I got it from the brains of the operation.
Thanks for asking.@.308 Norma what load did you finally go with?
Actually, our grandson, Matt called about an hour before he was supposed to be here and said he wasn't feeling right and didn't want to risk exposing us two old folks if he has Covid. We're kinda worried, but Matt is young (21) and strong, so we're sure he'll be okay even if it is Covid.
Disappointing though, and not just because Matt didn't get to come out and work up a load for his 1911 today, but because last week he took the ASVAB tests (he's planning on joining the Army), did real well on them, and part of the reason he was coming out to the house was to talk to his grandmother and me about selecting a field to go into.
You noticed that too huh?OP how come you didn't state what you have?
Yes, I maintain an Excel spreadsheet in which I keep updated quantities & types of propellants and primers. How much powder do you have right now? Can you name kind and quantity?
