Have you purchased anything gun related in the last three days?

Typical stock 'ferrule' for my newish VZ-58 buttstock.
Correct stock screw-these screws are different (longer) than what is used in the modern Czech Sporter versions.

Retique 'liquid wood' (watch this on Youtube-it can help plastic look like nice wood). "What's that got to do with a gun....?
1) I will try Retique on the black, plastic buttstock, then
2) add red mahogany Stain to the dried layer. The VZ has the reddish "beaver barf" --nearly identical with Red Mahogany Minwax--handguards.

The plastic buttstock is my back-up in case the reddish "beaver barf" buttstock ever has a serious issue (very long story).

montanaoffroade: That revolver certainly looks like a Montana gun.

The new Lee 20# lead pot I ordered from Midway came today and the two Lee 40 cal bullet molds and sizing die I order from Amazon came yesterday....so I thought. I just opened the box and found one 40 cal lee mold and one .358 lee mold. Someone goofed when the pulled that item. I started to send it back but for $16 I’ll just keep it and order the right one when it’s back in stock. I load .38/.357 anyway so no big deal.

Well, I have to say that I’ve been doing a terrible job at not buying anything gun related lately. I just got another package in the mail of parts that I ordered.
The other day I noticed that I was getting a little low on small AR parts so, I placed an order with JSE Surplus.

I’ve gotten in a bunch of stuff...
A Boyd’s stock for the Win Model 70.
1,000 .32 H&R brass from Starline and a bag of .32SWL and .32 H&R flew in from Loon Wolf as well.
Five ammo boxes for the .32.
A .458 pilot for the Lyman trimmer.
A new Frankfort Arsenal hand primer and powder trickler from Midway.
I’m still waiting for bullets to appear from Montana and Brazos...

Stay safe.

I received a new sight pusher, and another Nikon rimfire scope this week. Kind of a slow week for me. I did order some AR parts yesterday along with another upper.

I've been looking HARD for a Faxon 12.5" 350 Legend barrel. They must be made of unicorn farts and fairy dust as there isn't one to be found.

Some 5.56 ammo and 22 Standard Velocity. I have one Marlin 60 dedicated to this type of 22 ammo, intended to shoot at long (for 22) ranges. 5.56 i just buy when I see now. I have enough to fill my magazines twice, but not enough to be comfortable.

Fed Ex delivered my blue powder to powder coat the 40 S&W lead bullets I’ll be casting tomorrow. Hopefully I’ll get a few rounds loaded for my EAA Witness I bought a few weeks ago. I’m a 9mm man but for the price of the 40 cal witness I couldn’t pass it up. My new lead pot, bullet mold, sizing mold and Redding dies came in a little at a time last week. I only own one other 40 S&W pistol and that’s a Smith and Wesson 40. SDVE that I picked up for $199 a few years ago. Same deal as the Witness. To cheap to pass up. The Smith stays concealed in my ‘09 Mustang GT.
