Monday, I picked up another handgun that I didn’t need. But it’s one I wanted.
It a Gen4 Glock 17, my last issued duty weapon. I had this one for the last four years but didn’t carry it much. I mostly carried my Glock G45.
Upon retiring I had the option to buy my current duty weapon at a prorated price. Monday morning, after finishing up with my checking papers I was told that the price for the gun with the three mags was $308. Now that’s a hell of a deal on a Glock. I was also allowed to keep my duty rig.
This one will most likely end up in the back of the safe with the paperwork and most likely go to one of my kids later on.
