I know you're supposed to put your username in your order notes when using the THR coupon. I normally do, but completely forgot about it this time until I'd already submitted it. As busy as they are, I don't want to bug them. If I don't have to. Have any of you all done this? Were there any issues?

I've always included mine.

As busy as they are, I think it would cause a major backup to ask them to find your order, which they aren't going to see for many weeks, and make a change. I'd likely write it off as a pricey lesson to double check the info provided before submitting an order

You will probably be fine if you have already ordered from them with the discount.

How large was your order? I bought a thousand bullets a while back and used the discount code and it only made about a $5 difference in price IIRC. So not life changing but I was glad to get it. But if I didn't get it it wouldn't have made any difference. They are very nice looking bullets by the way. You will be pleased with them.

You may just want to call and leave a message on their answering machine, if no one answers. Give them your Order #, and tell them you forgot enter the THR forum and give it to them. Would not hurt to follow up with a email. or reply to the invoice the emailed to you.

Thanks guys. It gave me the discount for the order, or at least according to the order confirmation. I just didn't want it to hold them up or something when they got to my order without my username in the comments.

I'm hoping so. I really like their round nose FMJ bullets and their MPR JHP's. This time I decided to give the Match Winners a try. I'm hoping they feed okay in everything.

They, 124gr MW, feed fine in all the handguns I shoot in competition...SIG, Glock, M&P, EMP, H&K P7...loaded to 1.114" OAL. They are noticeably more accurate than the RN

They don't feed quite as well as RN in my JP PCC, but seem to work OK in my Ruger PC Carbine loaded to 1.120" OAL

I really appreciate this post. The 124 grain is the flavor I ordered as well. I was expecting to have to seat them much deeper than that. I was thinking they'd be similar profile to the MPR, but it sounds like they aren't. That'll give me a good starting point.

Just to give you another point of reference, I chose the OAL based on maintaining the same space inside the case as when I was loading 124gr RN. I was loading my RMR plated RN (this was before they were producing FMJ bullets) to 1.140" OAL

I recently ordered some bullets from them that I couldn’t find elsewhere for less than my first born. It’s been quite a long time since I ordered anything from them and I not only forgot to enter my forum ID but even forgot to add the discount code in the first place. The price was reasonable anyway, considering the current state of affairs, so no sleep was lost over it.

Slightly off topic but does anybody know how far back they are at this point? I don't intend to bug them as I know they are busy, I'm just curious. I ordered 9mm FMJ 115's on Aug 26 so it'll be 11 weeks this Wednesday. I'm hoping it's getting close to time for them to ship.

RMR = Rocky Mountain Reloading. They offer a discount to THR members, 5% I think. You have to have the secret discount code, which I forget at the moment, and put your THR username on the order. If you ask, I'm sure someone will PM the code to you.

They are about 12 weeks back at this point. I'm still waiting on orders from August.

Thanks for your answer. My order should be getting close to the front of the line then.

I also have another order I placed a couple weeks ago just so it could get in line. I don't expect it till next year.

I didn't even know I needed to do that.

I've ordered a dozen times or so with the discount added and I've never put my username in the notes. For no other reason other than I was unaware of it. I've always gotten the discount. But I will do so in the future.

^Me too

They are busy I wouldn’t bug them

The one time I dealt with their customer service (my error) they were awesome. Great company, they’ve got my business earned well

I ordered 1k of the 9mm 147 Gr. RMR Full Metal Jacket Flat Point Heavy MatchWinner Bullets on August 4th and received the a little over a week ago.

Keep in mind that in some cases, apparently, the process doesn't exclusively follow an order-date queue. They are shipping out what they have in-stock as quickly as they can. :)
