I've had dozens of requests and I've threatened to get a Rogers & Spencer to use as a fitting mule for years. I paid too much for one but it's on the way. I'm thinking a Slim Jim pattern.

I would like one please, for my own Euroarms Rogers & Spencer... so please keep me in mind when you sell any extras

I'll make a couple for folks to see and then post them for sale on Etsy. This may be a rare instance where I'll accept orders if folks want something in particular. I know there are not a lot of options for these guns.

I’m interested. I prefer full flap holsters, 1885 Cavalry half flap otherwise. I use some Triple K holsters now but they are very, very basic and extremely plain.

I’ll take this opportunity to plug the Rogers and Spencer’s, I have two, one with a conversion cylinder, alas I’m too far inti life to ever have use for a holster for one. @DocRock, one to be envied, a flap holster on a Sam Browne Belt rig is how we carried our Smiths in my brief law enforcement years in the 60’s.

Sir,
I found a 1974 Euroarms "1858" Remington for $240 shipped but needs a good cleaning and touch up bluing. Do you like your Euroarms? Im on the fence because of parts. Any input would be appreciated Im new to Black Powder. My 14yr old and I were at the range sighting in our deer rifles last fall and a gentleman had a Uberti 1858 my son was enamored with it and even more so after the guy left him shoot a couple cylinders. If anyone has any input I'd appreciate your thoughts too.

At least there's no problem finding parts & spare cylinders for the recent production Pietta and Uberti Remingtons.
That lessens the chances that it would become a wall hanger.
Then maybe you can pass it along to your kid some day in working condition.
Welcome to the THR black powder forum John570.

I like Euroarms, but modern replacement parts may not fit (or may need fitting)

that one may have been defarbed, hence the lack of bluing...

Thank you gentlemen very much for your feedback and your welcoming. I've been on the fence since Thursday ever since my local shop said it wasn't worth it because of the price and needing bluing but they are asking $440 for a standard steel Uberti Sheriff's model! My 2nd cousin is a certified FFL Gunsmith and he said if theres any issues just to let him know and he'll fix it with Uberti parts, So I sent the money today I think I'm going to buy another one so my son and I each have one. Now I just need to find some size 10 caps and 3f locally at 'reasonable' cost. I'll keep you posted when it arrives.

I would be interested in a R&S holster, if you care to make an extra. :)

Sorry for the late response, it wasn't defarbed it jus sat in a leather holster for a decade or so and the acids from the leather ate into the cylinder and speckled the frame.
