I've done (actually had done) quite a but of work on my 5-1/2" SS ROA. Action job, Lee's springs, barrel face trued, forcing cone opened up, cylinders deepened, Ampco nipples, blind screw faux ivory grips, Banana river ram. I think that's all.
My only regret is that I was never able to find a SS ROA, 5-1/2" with adjustable sights.
My curiosity is getting the best of me. I read now and then about the elusive Feinwerkbau NO2 Rogers & Spencer replica. I've never seen one and I can't seem to find any actually for sale in the U.S. All I have seen mention is the catastrophic price....anywhere from $1500 to $2,300.
Are they EXACT copies of the Rogers & Spencer or have they made improvements beyond metallurgy and workmanship?
Does anyone have one? Are they really that good? Does anyone know where there's one available that would let a fool and his money part?
