Don't these also have the Walther gain twist barrels? What a treat. Good luck.

The Walther barrels should have their proof mark on it: --->>> https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/the-thr-rogers-spencer-club.801108/#post-10224341

Euroarms with “antiqued” look. Seller states believes unfired.

$370 shipped UPS

Well, it arrived and I am happy.

Can’t find a date code on it, possibly removed during antiquing. It does have the DGG stamp on the underside of the barrel so that is cool. Trigger is clean and crisp. Hope to shoot it soon.

The one I was watching wih the flask an dmold sold for $680, I stopped at $600. The New Army Stainless , used adj. sights I won was $705 and it is in mint condition. I see Ruger no longer supports them tho. But heck I won't probably be worrying about spring and other repairs (with very few R&S parts around) . This is the first Stainless BP gun I have. It rounds out my collection well . I probably won't get a conversion cylinder. I probably will use bullets instead of ball in it and will probably become my go to BP shooter revolver. Love the stainless clean up possibilities . I have a 3 gallon pail of moose milk with a dipping basket !

I just found this topic. Mary and I took a drive Thursday and ended up at our favorite toy stores. I was not going to buy anything. He had gotten in a bunch of old cap guns of all types and conditions. In one display case was this Rogers and Spencer. Dixie Gun Works marked, made in 1984. The condition looks unfired, no box or papers, few handling marks. The price was to good to pass up.

Soon as there is a breaks in the weather, I'll be out shooting it.

The weather was only tolerable with wind at 10mph and gusting. But I loaded up and shot 18 rounds. I placed a 454 ball on top of the homemade wonder wad and the rammer pushed it down with no resistance. I was able to easily pull it with needle nose pliers. I have 457 balls for the ROA. They seated with resistance but didn't shave lead. I just shot at metal plates but hit every time. No problems with the RWS 1075 plus caps.

Ergonomically, it was a new experience. Shooting duelist, reaching the hammer was a struggle - having to juggle the gun upward to reach the hammer. Then squiggle back down to regain a grip.
